Frollo almost burned down the entire city of Paris cause he got a boner.

Scar literally killed his brother and king and took over his kingdom for years. Obviously his plan didn’t work, but he was a killer and was in power for a long time before Simba came back. Don’t bring this scar nonsense at me

Reblogging because @instantfake is absofuckinglutely right. Scar succeeded. Everybody else failed.

Diane’s statement dismissing Jevonte’s remark about seeing R. Kelly having sex with her daughter as “slanderous” and calling her a liar is disturbing and while I understand the guilt associated with hindsight bias after predators and predatory behaviour is recognized within a community, family, etc, is common ie “I should’ve know better/ saw the signs, etc”, the fact that countless women and girls have spoken up throughout the years about R. Kelly and his abuse only highlights how this statement only serves to re-traumatize Jevonte (and the countless other victims in this documentary) by calling her, and by extension them, liars thereby placing the blame on the victims, and re-enforcing the shame and stigma victims of child sexual abuse, especially black women, already deal with when they speak out. Diane is a grown ass woman and could’ve come correct without disparaging any of the victims. also why make a statement conflating Aaliyah’s legacy ( which won’t actually be tranished bc she is blameless in all this) with R. Kelly’s long standing history of abusing little black girls. black parents need to do better. the whole documentary is triggering, so be careful please and take care of yourself and I’m glad twitter is dragging her.
